Terms of Use
Last updated 3 October 2026
These terms apply when you use the QR 360 app. Please read them, in particular sections 2, 8, 10 and 11, which explain what QR 360 does not do and limit our responsibility. By using QR 360 you accept them.
1. Who provides QR 360
QR 360 is an independent app made by Garbis Tapacian ("we", "us"). You can contact us at boogieapps.help@gmail.com.
2. What QR 360 does, and what it does not do
QR 360 is a tool for making and reading QR codes and barcodes. It does exactly this:
- It turns information you type, such as a web address, contact details, a Wi-Fi password or a payment address, into a code image, styled as you choose.
- It reads codes with your camera or from photos and shows you what they contain.
- It keeps your codes, scans and settings on your phone.
QR 360 does not, and is not designed to:
- hold, store, send, receive, exchange or convert money, cryptocurrency or any other asset;
- hold, create or have access to wallets, private keys, seed phrases or accounts of any kind;
- carry out, process, verify, monitor or guarantee any payment or transaction;
- check that an address, account, website, network or person is genuine, safe, solvent or lawful;
- give financial, investment, tax, legal or security advice.
QR 360 is not a bank, payment service, wallet, exchange, crypto-asset service provider or financial institution, and nothing in the app should be read as if it were.
3. Your licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use QR 360 on Apple devices you own or control, under these terms and the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Where these terms and Apple's differ, these terms apply between you and us.
4. Your content and your codes
You own the codes you create and everything you put into them. You alone are responsible for what you encode, for checking it is correct, and for where and how you print, display or share a code. You must have the right to use any text, photos or logos you add.
Do not use QR 360 to create codes that are unlawful, deceptive or harmful, including phishing links, malware, scams, fake payment requests, or content that infringes someone else's rights.
Brand, coin and network logos in the logo library are trademarks of their owners. They are provided so you can identify your own profiles, coins or networks. Their use does not mean the owners endorse you or QR 360, and you are responsible for following their brand guidelines.
5. Test before you print or share
Styled codes change how a code looks. The scan check in the designer tests a code with your phone's own reader, but other devices, sizes, materials, lighting and print quality vary. Always scan the finished code with more than one device, and confirm it leads exactly where you intend, before printing, publishing or relying on it. We are not responsible for codes that do not scan, or that lead somewhere other than you intended, or for the cost of reprinting.
6. Scanning and links
QR 360 shows you what a code contains before you act on it and points out some common warning signs. That check is a limited guide, not a guarantee: a link, network, contact or payment request without warnings can still be fraudulent or harmful. Only open links, join networks, make payments or share details when you trust the source. You decide what to do with a scanned code, and you are responsible for that decision.
7. Locked notes
Locked notes are encrypted on your phone with the password you choose. We never have that password and cannot recover it. If it is forgotten, the note cannot be read by anyone, including us. Encryption reduces risk but cannot make any information perfectly secure.
8. Cryptocurrency payment codes
A crypto payment code made with QR 360 contains only what you enter: a public address and, where supported, an amount, network, token and note. It is a request that another person may choose to act on in their own wallet. QR 360 never sees, sends, receives or holds any cryptocurrency, and is not a party to any payment.
You are solely responsible for:
- entering the correct address, coin, token, network, amount and any memo or destination tag your wallet or exchange requires;
- checking the finished code with your own wallet before sharing it;
- making sure the person paying uses the same network and token.
Cryptocurrency transfers are generally irreversible. Payments sent to a wrong address, on a wrong network, in a wrong token, with a missing or wrong memo, or with a wrong amount are usually lost permanently, and we cannot recover them.
The address checks, network notes and warnings in the app are a convenience only. They can catch some mistakes but cannot confirm that an address is correct, belongs to you, is controlled by anyone, or can receive a particular token. A code may also be read differently, or only partly, by different wallets.
Token contract addresses and network details in the app come from the issuers' published information at the time of the app version you use. Issuers can change, pause, freeze, migrate or discontinue tokens and networks at any time, without notice to us.
Cryptocurrency is volatile and is restricted or prohibited in some countries. You are responsible for complying with the laws, sanctions and tax rules that apply to you and to any payment you request or make.
9. Other payment, contact and network codes
The same applies to every other kind of code: you are responsible for the accuracy of the phone numbers, email addresses, Wi-Fi details, links and other information you encode, and for what you do with information you scan. We are not involved in, and not responsible for, any call, message, payment, connection or other action taken through a code.
10. No warranty
QR 360 is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any warranty that it is accurate, complete, reliable, secure, error-free, uninterrupted, fit for a particular purpose or free of harmful components, to the fullest extent permitted by law. You use QR 360 at your own risk.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with QR 360, its use, or the inability to use it, including:
- loss of money, cryptocurrency or other assets, including payments sent to a wrong address, network or token;
- loss of data, codes, history or photos;
- codes that do not scan or that lead somewhere unintended;
- fraud, scams, phishing or malware reached through a code, whether made or scanned with QR 360;
- decisions made or actions taken based on anything shown in the app;
- loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or opportunity, and any indirect or consequential loss.
Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our total liability to you for all claims is limited to the amount you paid us for QR 360 in the twelve months before the claim, or €50 if you paid nothing.
You agree to indemnify us against claims brought by others arising from codes you create, share or act on, or from your breach of these terms, to the extent permitted by law.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of the Republic of Cyprus or the European Union, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
12. Your data
How QR 360 handles information is explained in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
13. Intellectual property
The QR 360 name, icon, design and code belong to us. Fonts, icons and open-source software included in the app are used under their own licences, listed in the app under Settings › About.
14. Changes and ending
We may update, change or stop offering QR 360 or any of its features, including crypto payment codes, at any time. We may update these terms; when we make an important change, we will show it in the app. If you keep using QR 360 after a change, the updated terms apply. You can stop using QR 360 at any time by deleting it.
15. General
If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in effect, and the affected part applies to the fullest extent the law allows. Our not enforcing a part of these terms is not a waiver of it.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Cyprus. The courts of the Republic of Cyprus have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have in your country of residence.
